Looking down upon Wembley's pool from the Club's expansive decking on a hot summer day, one is reminded of a beautiful resort. The 4,000-square-foot, year-round pool is surrounded by a stunning fish pond, beach volleyball, bocce ball, shuffleboard, an enclosed toddler pool and lush landscaping. And let's not forget the Tiki Bar, a hot bed of adult and junior activity all summer long. The indoor/outdoor pool boasts six 25-yard lap lanes and a 40' x 20' splash area. Wembley members enjoy swimming all year long thanks to our state-of-the-art winterized dome, which goes up in the fall and is removed in the spring.

More than just a great facility, the Wembley pool offers our members, both young and old, a host of activities. Top-notch instruction, swim teams, pool parties, water aerobics and in-pool movie nights. With so much going on in and around the pool, Wembley is fortunate to have the area's finest Aquatics Director, Beth Sonnhalter. Beth has worked at the Club for more than a decade, coaching and mentoring scores of Wembley swimmers, many straight out of the cradle. Members quickly find Beth to be more than a great technical instructor, however. Through her work with the Club's swim team, clinics and summer camp, Beth has befriended a generation of Wembley families. Beth was recently honored as the Ohio High School Swim Coaches Association Division II Girls Coach of the Year as a result of her stewardship of Chagrin Falls Varsity Team.
